The Games of the Second Bar Decathalon

Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, MI -- 29 June 2002

The Games of the Second Bar Decathalon were held on 29 June 2002 at five different venues in Ann Arbor, Scio Township and Ypsilanti, Michigan. Twelve spirited competitiors, after dedicating their lives to the pursuit of killing time, put forth their best efforts to prove once and for all who has mastered the art of the games of the low-budget amusement history. Five events were contested using a double-elimination tournament while the other five were contested by score. Twelve points were awarded for 1st place in an event, down to 1 point for an 12th place finish. The sacrifice and perserverance of the competitiors can not be understimated, as not even the true decathelete pursues all their events in just one day.
