Parking For Central Campus Tournaments...

Like any other college campus, parking is very difficult. If the tournament you're attending is not on Sunday, there are not many places to park. Here is a map of what you have to deal with parking wise...

What's the point of downloading a map if you don't have graphics?

Most U-M tournaments occur either in the Modern Languages Building (left-center) or Mason Hall (lower-left). On Saturdays, the lot directly across the street is staff only, and will be unavailable. On Sundays, this lot is generally available for parking, but will charge $3 if a special event is occurring in any of the four theaters nearby. Similarly, parking on the street on Saturday is not a wise option since the meters will be enforced. However, meter parking is not enforced on Sundays. You will however, notice three small lots (M56, M57 and M59) on the corner of Huron and Fletcher (towards the center). Each of these allow parking on Saturday, but only have a handful of spaces available. Another option is the Glen Street Structure (M61). It's a bit of a hike, but it has free Saturday parking and will have tons of spaces available. Not available due to construction during the Summer of 2006 will be the Fletcher Street Structure near the Dental School (Dental School. Lisa needs braces. Dental School. Lisa needs braces. Dental School. Lisa needs braces.).
