The 2009-10 Ted Marshall Open Television Death Pool
	The Cease and Desist is Back! Now, until 31 August 2009 at 11:59 PM EDT, you can enter the web's premier TV death pool! Simply select the shows you think will never have a first-run episode after August 31, 2010. Who ever gets the most points is "the winner!" (Scroll down for official rules)

The Rules

• Eligible shows include all first-run comedies, dramas, news and game shows running on the five major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW). MyNetworkTV is not used since their schedule is technically a syndication package, and do not have a consistent nationwide starting time.
• Limited series such as Survivor, America's Next Top Model, The Apprentice, etc. are not eligible since they have predefined series runs. These shows are indicated in red. Reality shows that have self-contained episodes (i.e.: they can be run out of order, contestants appear for only one show, etc.) are eligible.
• Certain shows, such Dateline NBC, have multiple airings per week. For a show to earn points, all airings of the show must be canceled.
• Each canceled show you selected earns 20 points, plus bonus points for where it was ranked. Your top ranked show earns 10 bonus points, your second 9 all the way down to 1. The maximum score possible is 255 points.
• A show is considered canceled when it is determined that there will be no more first run episodes of the selected show on any of the five major networks after August 31, 2010
• A show must air at least one first-run episode between September 1, 2009 and August 31, 2010 for any points to be awarded.
• The tiebreaker will be the actual retail price of the higher priced showcase on the first episode of the 38th season of The Price is Right. Unlike the actual show, you may go over.
